SHOP FOX W1707 2 HP 17-Inch Bandsaw
This saw ranked second only to the Laguna in re-saw capacity. Test cuts were acceptable but required a slower feed rate. It had a decent fence, but blade-drift adjustment was limited. The guidepost deflected easily when pushed front-to-back, potentially causing some blade twist. There was no built-in tension gauge. (Note that this review was written for the Shop Fox 14-inch G9970, now replaced by the Shop Fox W1707 17 inch saw, so the above review may not be 100% accurate.)
